Velvet Rope is a hospitality reservation and venue-operations platform operated by John Blaze Inc. References to “Velvet Rope,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Velvet Rope and John Blaze Inc. Velvet Rope helps venues manage reservations, arrivals, guest support, and operational guest communications.

We collect information needed to operate reservations and guest-service workflows. This may include your name, mobile phone number, email address, reservation details, party size, arrival time, guest-support requests, payment/deposit status, and device or browser information used for security and fraud prevention.

We use information to provide the services requested by guests and venues. This includes creating and confirming reservations, coordinating arrivals, sharing seating updates, sending reservation reminders, supporting guest-service requests, processing deposits through payment providers, and helping venue staff manage check-in and service.

Velvet Rope SMS messages are used only for reservation and guest-service operations. Messages may include reservation confirmations, arrival coordination, seating updates, reservation reminders, and guest support. Message frequency varies based on reservation activity. Message and data rates may apply. Guests may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.

Velvet Rope does not use this SMS program for nightlife promotions, guestlist advertising, VIP promotional campaigns, marketing blasts, alcohol promotional messages, adult-content messages, gambling messages, or unrelated advertising.

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent information are used only to operate Velvet Rope reservation and guest-service messaging, maintain opt-out suppression, provide customer support, comply with law, prevent abuse, and deliver messages through service providers acting on our behalf.

We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate Velvet Rope. For example, SMS delivery providers may process phone numbers solely to deliver operational messages, payment processors may process deposit payments, and hosting or database providers may store platform records. These providers are not authorized to use mobile opt-in data for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, security investigation, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Velvet Rope, venues, guests, or others.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, support reservations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security records, and enforce agreements. If you opt out of SMS, your phone number may be retained on a suppression list so we can honor the opt-out.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep operational guest data protected.

You may opt out of Velvet Rope SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact hello@velvetropehq.com. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational limits.
